I recently had the chance to explore a historic yet functional hotel in the heart of the city, merging traditional charm with contemporary needs-something I always appreciate as an architect. The location was quite convenient, nestled among trendy cafes and bars, making it easy to immerse oneself in the local culture. My room was spacious and clean, providing a comfortable refuge after a day of exploring. I particularly enjoyed the phenomenal shower pressure-a simple pleasure that added to my experience. The hotel also offers a late check-out at 12 PM, which I found to be a thoughtful touch, allowing for a relaxed departure. The breakfast was satisfactory; nothing extravagant, but decent enough to start the day. While I didn't dine at the on-site restaurant, the proximity to diverse eating options in the area was a plus. Other amenities, like complimentary newspapers and a multilingual staff at the 24-hour front desk, were advantages for various guests. While the hotel leans towards the traditional side rather than luxurious, it provides an authentic experience worth considering for anyone visiting.
